Research Areas
Research Interests
Dr. Tarun Sharma's research interests are in theoretical and applied fluid dynamics, with a primary focus on heat and mass transfer in magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) and mixed convective flows through porous media. His work involves mathematical modeling of chemically reactive, radiative, and thermally driven flow systems, incorporating effects such as Lorentz forces, buoyancy, and internal heat generation. He emphasizes entropy generation analysis and thermodynamic optimization to assess irreversibility in transport processes. His research also includes analytical and numerical investigations of nanofluid and hybrid nanofluid transport phenomena, contributing to advanced understanding of complex thermofluidic systems relevant to engineering applications.
