Soumen Sarkar

My research interests include Cryptography, Secure Multiparty Computation (SMPC), Blockchain, and Cyber Security, with an emphasis on developing secure, privacy-preserving, and trustworthy computing systems. I am interested in designing efficient cryptographic protocols and privacy-enhancing technologies that enable secure computation, data sharing, and communication in distributed environments.

My work also focuses on Secure Multiparty Computation for collaborative data analysis without revealing sensitive information, as well as Blockchain technologies for decentralized applications, smart contracts, consensus mechanisms, and secure digital transactions. In the area of Cyber Security, I am interested in network and system security, access control, threat detection, data privacy, and the development of resilient security solutions for emerging computing platforms.
